Hun School Class of 2025 QB Drae Tyme Ready to Learn Under the Best
Princeton, NJ: There are multiple schools of thought when it comes to the development of football players, and more specifically, quarterbacks, at the high school level.
Yes, game time is important: but more valuable is the opportunity to come up against and learn from a squad full of Division 1 players and elite coaches.
That is the path Hun School rising sophomore Drae Tyme has chosen. The 6-4, 215-pound Class of 2025 star will take snaps at practice all summer and fall in Todd Smith’s juggernaut, throwing to Power 5 receivers, behind an offensive line full of Power 5 players, and facing a defense filled with top tier talent. He gets to learn from Marco Lainez, who will play QB at Iowa next fall, and oh yeah, the OC and QB Coach is second to none, Tony Racioppi.
Not bad for the ultra-talented player.
Drae will bide his time, but should see PT on the field for the top prep school team in the country as they’re expected to roll to win after win. He is also going to see some minutes on the highly rated basketball team in the winter as well.
In the classroom, Tyme is a star as well, and will have the privilege of being prepared for college in the rigorous Hun School academic program.
Here is a scouting report on the QB:
“The first thing you notice is his size. He is 15-years-old, 6-4, 215, with giant hands. GO shake his hand: yours will disappear. He is super athletic, and is going to become such a better player just from the summer program. And that’s just his first summer: he will get orders of magnitude better each month he works in the system with Todd’s coaching staff.
“I am really excited to see what Drae is going to do when he gets the keys.”
