NJ Class of 2024 Toms River North OT/DT Justin Kaye Is Ready for Massive Fall Campaign
Toms River, NJ: When coaches first see Class of 2024 offensive tackle/defensive tackle Justin Kaye, there is one thought that goes through their minds: he is a massive human being.
At just 15-years-old, Kaye is 6-7, 285 pounds, with a wingspan of 83 inches: maybe he should be called Justin Credible (just incredible, get it?)
Kaye has already made his mark on New Jersey high school football, and the Toms River North player is working hard in the offseason to make sure he adds some more strength and speed to his repertoire. In the late summer, when his junior season begins, you can imagine that coaches from all over the country will be gearing up to see his tape.
And guess what? Kaye is a superstar off the field as well: he has a 4.5 GPA which should get even better after his sophomore year grades settle. He is the total package. Kaye has been invited to some Division 1 camps already and will surely get to more than a few more in the next couple years before his senior campaign starts in mid-2023.
In his huddle tape, you can see him playing, and dominating, on both sides of the ball for the Mariners.
Here is a scouting report on the rising junior:
“Justin already has the size to be a Division 1 lineman. I think for him, the next couple years are about honing his technique at camps and clinics, and getting stronger, and quicker, in the weight room. If you watch his tape, he absolutely dominates at times against smaller players. He has the streak in him that you need to be an elite lineman.
“It is going to be interesting to see what he can do this year. If he has a good summer in the weight room and comes back with 10-15 pounds of muscle added on to his frame, he is going to be one of the best lineman in the state. He has the chance to be a good one.”
